Steve Angeles from ABS-CBN North America Bureau writes that Henry Acejo taught English as a Second Language and computer classes to adults at the school for five years. Acejo was found stabbed to death in his Tijuana apartment last month. The school is considering starting a memorial scholarship in his honor. As the community continues to mourn, friends are seeking justice. Acejo lived in the U.S. for 15 years where he taught language classes throughout several San Diego area colleges. He worked in the U.S. to send money to his family in the Philippines.
There is a collection for memorial funds to pay the funeral and repatriation expenses. Checks should be made out to Cristina Gonsal, the sister of Henry Acejo .
