I recently placed an order for a custom design at Christine Balza’s Suku, New Sun Artistry. Balza’s company aims to strengthen and respect Philippine cultural traditions. For those interested, my custom orders were Baybayin name translations for my twin nieces and nephew. The order consists of baby tees and wall art. The Baybayin characters are translated from left to right as Isa, Aly, and Connor. One of the reasons why I’m a big fan of Christine Balza’s work is the time and effort she puts into her custom designs and the baby tees really caught my eye. Also, I thought it would be a great idea for my Kuya (older brother) and sister-in-law, who are raising their children to learn their cultural backgrounds. For more info on how you can get your custom designs from Christine Balza please visit Suku, New Sun Artistry and there is currently a 75% sale at the online store, click here.
