Behind the scenes of I Come with the Rain

This update features more coverage on the neo-noir psychological thriller, I Come with the Rain that was shot in the Philippines. Thanks to a reader who goes by Terminator, I was able to share this behind the scenes footage of Josh Hartnett in Mindanao, Philippines at a town that was established in the past 25 years. The footage also shows Hartnett being accompanied by the Philippine army after explaining in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel that there had been numerous kidnappings in the area. It’s great that Philippines gets to be featured in more Western films, but I feel that the movie should have at least showcased some Pinoy actors in the main cast. But I am glad that there are more Asian faces in this film with Takuya Kimura, Shawn Yue Man-Lok, and Lee Byun-Hun as the main antagonist. I have to add that it is Lee Byun-Hun that actually got me interested in this film because his character portrayal of the main antagonist Dongpo makes his appearance as Storm Shadow in G.I. Joe look like a Disney character. From seeing more footage and interview for this film, I really do hope this gets released in the US. Also, it features Asian men in strong roles and their voices are not dubbed in English. For more behind the scenes look at I Come with the Rain, please visit Trailer Addict.
